Join author and poet Michael Kiesow Moore as he shares his work exploring the AIDS Crisis through the lens of the Covid pandemic. With support from the Minnesota State Arts Board, Michael has been gathering stories for his manuscript Not My First Pandemic, reflecting on the personal and collective impact of these two health crises. He will read from his poetry collections and discuss his journey as a writer. He will also give details on his upcoming writing workshop focused on personal reflections from the AIDS years and the Covid pandemic.
